The Artist will respond to the phrase and title of the exhibit, 'fruit of our labors'.
Artists are invited to contemplate this new twist to the common phrase and contemplate its meaning, especially as it relates to the bounty of the Willamette Valley and it's people. Subject matter that is realistic, imagined, or abstract is welcome. Artwork will be selected based on how it fits with the theme of the show, the aesthetic quality of the work, the intention of the work, and skill and proficiency in medium."
This call is open to all mediums except for video art and installations. Two-dimensional artwork should not exceed 36” in any dimension, regardless of medium. All two-dimensional work must be framed and ready to hang with a hanging wire attached to the back. Three-dimensional works must fit within a 2ft wide x 3ft tall x 10in deep space and not exceed 50lbs.

Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, Oregon is hosting an open call for local and regional artists working in the medium of collage. The exhibition is scheduled for June 19 - July 17, 2026.
Collage has a rich history creating community and this artform has been used to process unimaginable world and individual events. The collage community is generous and welcoming while demonstrating what salvage, collaboration, creativity, and healing can look like. Join us to celebrate scissors, ephemera, and glue!
Eligible work: Entries in 2D and 3D collage in all media will be considered, including drawing, painting, digital, printmaking, textile, photography, mixed media, sculpture, as well as any other forms of assemblage and material.

Maude Kerns Art Center is currently accepting submissions for its 2027 & 2028 Exhibits Seasons. Local, regional, and national artists (individuals and groups) working in 2- and 3- dimensional mediums, as well as installation art, are invited to submit their work for consideration. Solo, group, and/or themed shows will be curated based on the content, quality, and number of submissions. Established, mid-career, and emerging artists are encouraged to apply.
