It's that time already! The call for the 27th annual MTAS exhibit (on view September 11 - October 2) is open.
Original 2- and 3- dimensional media: paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, digital art, video art, fiber art, collage, costumes or wearables, fiber art, jewelry, assemblage etc. Work must have been done in the last 12 months. Work must be ready to display or hang (mat, frame) at the time of exhibit. Artists can fill out the form via Jotform or may email all requested info to the Director of Exhibits at [email protected]
Application Deadline: Sunday, May 31st at 11:59pm
Artist Notification: Friday, June 12th

Maude Kerns Art Center is currently accepting submissions for its 2027 & 2028 Exhibits Seasons. Local, regional, and national artists (individuals and groups) working in 2- and 3- dimensional mediums, as well as installation art, are invited to submit their work for consideration. Solo, group, and/or themed shows will be curated based on the content, quality, and number of submissions. Established, mid-career, and emerging artists are encouraged to apply.
Deadline: Sunday, May 3, 2026 @ 11:59 MST
Artist Notification: Friday, July 3, 2026
Application Fee: $35

The Maude Kerns Art Center is accepting submissions for our 33rd annual Día de los Muertos Exhibit, which takes place October 16 – November 6.
All artists, working in all mediums, are eligible for this juried call. Artists may submit 1-5 pieces. There is a $20 application fee. Work must be original and must focus on the Mexican Day of the Dead, which blends the ancient harvest rituals of the Aztec god of death and the Roman Catholic holidays of All Saints and All Souls Days. The celebration honors the dead and acknowledges the link between the communities of the living and the dead.
