All Spring Classes have been cancelled, except for Beginning Drawing and Landscapes en Plein Air with some changes to their format.
Beginning Drawing will be held online through Zoom now.
Landscapes en Plein Air is held outdoors, and complies without social distancing restrictions.
Both classes still have spots available in them, please sign up if you are interested!
We are still offering Online Workshops during this time and will be looking to offering more in person classes here at the Art Center in the future.

We are currently offering scholarships for 50% of the cost of tuition for classes. Scholarships are available for all age groups through the Susi Larsen & Cameron Serbu Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Madeline Christenson Scholarship Fund.
Do you have a budding artist? It may be time for private art lessons at the Art Center! Private Lessons are available for Youth (ages 6-10) and Young Adults (ages 11-16). Lessons will include (4) one-hour sessions with an Art Center Instructor. Weekly meetings. Lessons are available in a variety of drawing and painting mediums and are customized to fit each student's creative interests and schedule.
Private Art Lessons: $150 (Cost of materials not included.)

Full refund is offered if cancellation request is made 5 business days or more prior to class, workshop, or camp. If request is made 2 to 4 business days prior to class, workshop, or camp, fees and 50% of tuition will be forfeited. No refunds will be given for request is made one business day prior to class, workshop, or camp. There are no refunds after the first class session.
No refunds, credits, or make-ups are offered for individuals who miss a class session.
MKAC has a parking lot for art students, visitors, and staff. If you happen to arrive for your class and the parking lot is full, please come into the office and grab a parking pass. This will override the street parking time limits for your class time!
In the event of bad weather, the Art Center will close if Lane Community College is closed. Classes for that day will be cancelled and a make-up session will be held at a later date. In the event that Lane Community College is delayed, all Art Center classes before 12pm will be cancelled. Call 541-345-1571 after 12pm on the day in question to check for afternoon and evening classes.
