Tendrils & Boughs: Inspired by Nature

	Opening Reception: Friday, January 12, 6-8pm Exhibition Dates: January 12-February 9, 2007 Title Sponsor: Elliott/Blank Family Foundation Inspired by the forms, colors, and textures found in the natural world, the artists in this exhibit celebrate the earth's flora. The plant world is captured in the paintings, photographs, and mixed media artworks. Artists include Jill Cardinal (Eugene, OR), Sarah Grew (Eugene, OR), David Castleberry (Charleston, OR), Lisa M. Bigalke (Wisconsin), and Gigi Conot (California). "Folded Leaves" by Sarah Grew Artist Lecture: Tendrils & Boughs Wednesday, January 31, 7-8:30pm Lecture by Sarah Grew We invite you to learn more about local artist, Sarah Grew, featured in our "Tendrils & Boughs" exhibit. Sarah creates unique and compelling artworks from found objects, and she will discuss her creation of assemblage, the symbolism of her art, and her artistic process both past and present. Sarah has worked as an Artist-In-Residence in Northern California and has also traveled extensively throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, and Mexico.
