DIA DE LOS MUERTOS GIFT SHOP COORDINATOR

Purpose: To help put together a traditional Mexican celebration, by coordinating and running the gift shop. .

Duties: This is a short-term project for a special event, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a traditional Mexican celebration. It involves helping to organize the gift shop, tagging artwork, learning the Bookkeeping and sales system, and training other volunteers.

Benefits: Fun event, good experience, letters of recommendation, recognition at volunteer ceremonies.

Age Guideline: 16

Training: On site.

Qualifications: Working with the public; some sales experience helpful

Time Needed: Oct. 15 - Nov. 4, approximately 5 hrs. each wk. .
