Día de los Muertos Lecture
by the Amigos Multicultural Services Center
Wednesday, November 4, 7-8:30pm

We invite you to a very special Día de los Muertos presentation by the Amigos Multicultural Services Center (Amigos MSC). For over seven years, members of Juventud FACETA (Amigos MSC’s youth program), ages 14-24, have created stunning, traditional altars for the Day of the Dead exhibit.

This year Juventud FACETA will create a traditional Ecuadorian altar and on November 4th, the group will speak about how the celebration of Día de los Muertos varies not only in regions of Mexico, but also throughout South America. Led by their Program Coordinator, Patricia Cortez, the youth members will also speak about their volunteer-driven, human rights organization, and share their inspirations for this year’s Día de los Muertos altar.
