    The Art Center is proud to present the 8th annual Mayor's Teen Art Show. This year's exhibit showcases over 35 teen artists and will include a screening of films by the 2007 Youth Visions Winners. Join us for the Opening Reception of Friday, September 14th from 6-8 when Mayor Kitty Piercy will present the Mayor's Choice Award.

    Artist Lecture: Fast Forward

    Lecture by:     Phoebe Sheldon Young, 2006 Mayor's Choice Award Winner

    We are pleased to have Phoebe Sheldon Young as our guest speaker for this year’s Mayor’s Teen Art Show. In 2006, Phoebe was awarded the Mayor’s Choice Award for her painting, “Anne,” and we are delighted to welcome her back to the 2007 Fast Forward exhibit. As a teen artist, Phoebe will share with the audience where her passion for art comes from, what inspires her as an artist, and where she envisions her young career going. This lecture will include a brief slide show. Questions will be taken following the presentation.
